A fond farewell...

Dear Forum Users,

It's with sadness that I announce that I am leaving National Instruments for a new opportunity.  My last day will be Friday September 23rd.

I've been working with you all for just about 4 years now and I want to thank you for creating such a wonderful community that brings together everyone from users just getting started with NI products to advanced users that share their knowledge and learn from others.  It's quite an inspiring environment. I've enjoyed the opportunity to get to know many of you through conversations on this board, BreakPoint, and even meeting some of you in person at NIWeek. You've taught me a lot about what a thriving community is and how to work with the passionate members to introduce improvements.  My favorite improvements that we worked together to create are the Knight of NI rank (who doesn't love to send out shrubberies?) and the Kudos system (remember those one star bandits?).

Anyhow, thank you again for welcoming me in to this role 4 years ago and helping me through the variety of upgrades and other improvements that we've made. I hope you will be just as welcoming to Stephanie (srdfrn) who will now be working with you. Don't worry, she'll have some help from others behind the scenes.

If you're interested in keeping in touch, be sure to find me on LinkedIn or twitter.

Best Wishes!

Laura Feeney

Laura! I am sad to see you leave, we had a great run. 🙂 The forum has certainly matured under your watch. Big kudos!! I guess Stephanie will take over. Is this correct? I wish you all the best in your future endeavors, I guess it is time To move up in the world. 😄 Look me up if you ever travel through the LA area.

Awww, now we have to train a whole new admin? It takes like forever... 😉

You've certainly been a sport and four years around here can not be too easy. Let's see if Stephanie is up for breaking that time. Anyway, good luck in your next adventure (and you can still drop by if you want. We won't tell anyone).

Hi Laura,

I thought some things are permanent forever, but it seems it is not so.

All the best on your Farewell in NI, and all my best wishes for you to FARE WELL wherever you are heading to.

Wishes,

Partha.

I wish you the best of luck on your new endeavors. I'm sad to see you go. You have been a driving force to improve the forums and it has been a pleasure to work with you. You even put up with all of our whining and our little complaints. Thanks for all you have done here.
