infinite loop in Autonomous Independent.vi

The Robot Main.vi example from LabVIEW FRC 2012 loads the Autonomous Independent.vi by reference and there are two infinite loops in that subvi. Is this because that this subvi will be aborted by the central control? If it is, how does this subvi get aborted/killed, just curious. Thanks.

Yes, it does get killed automatically. In Robot Main, look at the Autonomous Enabled case.
