Uninstalling Programs on Our Classmate

Hello ,

Team 2420 was given a corrupt LabVIEW software installaion drive. We fixed it; no problem. The main issue , is that our classmate's (C:) drive is full.  Every attempt to clear it results in a window saying"You require permission from TrustedInstaller to make changes to this folder." The contents of this drive WILL NOT delete. My question is regarding the uninstalation of these folders. Please help!!

It sounds like you are trying to delete protected files, rather then using the program's uninstall to uninstall them.

We ran into the same problem some time back. Uninstall actually requires some minimal amount of space to run. For example, when you delete a file it does not leave the computer but gets copied to the recycle bin. With no space this cannot happen. Have you cleared the recycle bin? ( If it lets you see it) Its a fight to aquire as much free space as much as possible, so you can get another one off then remove from the ecycle bin. Otherwise you are looking for something to reformat and scratch everything off.

And it may be quicker to follow the manual and reimage the classmate. It will boot from the flash drive and rewrite everything.
