I'm new to RLP and I'm trying to use a 6052E DAQ board with a scxi1000 chassis with 3 modules insiede (1520,1530,1540). Everything should run under XPC target from mathworks (basically Ms-DOS) in multiplex mode. XPC target provides a basic driver that allow direct acces to every register of the daq board, but does not provide any function to control SCXI chassis or modules. I got the RLP docs (all the avilable on both SCXI 1000 and E-series/STC RLP manuals) but it would be a lot easier if someone can provide an example on how to perform an acquisition in multiplex mode.
At a glance it seems that SCXI chassis is controlled via an SPI or similar protocol, through the DIO of the DAQ board, but it's not so clear how the multiplex works and what the DAQ board should do to acquire data.
Any hint will be extremely usefull.
