Is it possible to configure line direction on M series 6230 other than default for DIO?

I've got a M series 6230 running under RTX.  The out of the box configuration has it with 6 DIs and 4 DOs.  I saw a previous post which specifies that on 623x devices the board will power up with the line directions set correctly as either input or output.  It is possible to change the line direction to configure the board with 5 DIs and 5 DOs?  I saw some commented out example code that explicity configures each line direction with a call to set the IO_Bidirection_Pin register.  Can I simply reconfigure the board using this method or am I stuck with the current out of the box configuration?

Hi Gilla-

No, the isolation hardware on the 623x DIO is completely unidirectional so it is not possible to adjust the line directions beyond those specified in the user manual for those devices.
