How to control heater switch through labview&PCI-6503

I want to control a heater switch through labview and National instrument PCI-6503 and correspondingly cable,I/O connector(50 pin). The heater had a 15-pin socket for computer control. the heater manual show that if the voltage at Pin1 of socket is 3.5-5V(TTLlevel),the switch is on, when the voltage at pin1 is 0-1 V, the switch is off. But I have no idea of how to use digital I/O Vi in labview to realize such voltage. Anyone can give me some example or hint about it?

Your help is greatly appreciately.

Hello;

The digital lines that board of your handle are TTL standart, which means that, a low state corresponds to a voltage in the range 0-0.8V and a high state sorresponds to a voltage in the range of 3-5V. So, you can use that board to generates the voltages your heater needs.
You can refer to one of the Labview examples to give you an idea on how to change digital lines.
Go to c:\Program Files\National Instruments\Labview 6\examples\daq\digital\8255.
Hope this helps.
