First think I do is remove all those error in\error out terminals, wherever possible (and appropriate). Then class outputs unless something changed.
That's mostly >2 year old code though.

Typically happens to me if I look at code from the day before, though. 😄

Reminds me of the old saying:
Good code is what I just wrote.
Bad code is what my coworker just wrote.
... and terrible code is what I wrote 6 months ago.
