Digital Filters with the EMONA myDSP minisystem for myDAQ

Plug this accessory board into your myDAQ and then configure the ready made filter templates to implement FIR & IIR filters, up to 10th order.

This board is aimed at being an entry level teaching tool for learning about Digital Filters in DSP.

Rather than spending valuble lab time programming, the student can concentrate on designing the filter, calulating the co-efficients, observing the poles & zeroes etc.

The myDSP SFP enables the user to concentrate on the design of the filter and the Lab manuals provide exercises to support the learning. It uses the Digital Filter Design toolkit functions.

This small minisystem board runs a 50MHz microchip DSP, with input anti-aliasing filters as well as recontruction filters on the output.

Both the input & output filters can be used or bypassed if preferred.

The board has an output connector and is designed to be daisy-chained with other minisystem boards.

Imagine you have a project, and you need to remove some 120 Hz noise. Simply configure myDSP as a 120Hz notch filter and pass your signal through it.

32 bit precision means you can create very tightly specified filters up to 10th order to meet the requirements you need.
