Hi,
Thank you for posting your question on National Instruments' forums.
I'm not sure that I understood your problem.
If I'm right, you want to turn a LED on when you loose the connection between your 9791 and your 3202.
Am I right ?
Or do you want to check the connection status between the 9791 and the host computer ?
As there is no LED you can program on the 9791, I guess you wan to power a software LED on your host computer. Is that so ?
If you could answer these questions and be a little more precise about what you want to realize, it will be easier for me to help you.
Best regards,

You are right.
On the program can connect a LED when it loses signal. But like turning a light signal and noise, when this signal loss.
