Inside NI Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) you can run some really nice reports on our system via File --> Create Report... This report can be customized and gives information on installed HW and SW. What I'd like to do is programmatically extract the software versions report in LabVIEW and compare the results against a station configuration file, to ensure the test station has all the correct SW elements installed. Does anyone out there know how to to that?
