Hello All,

There are numerous ways to get started with this application. First, you can acquire sound using the built in microphones in your Laptop or an external earphone. This sound can be brought into LabVIEW using the Acquire sound express VI (http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361J-01/lvpict/acquiresound/).

Thereafter there are numerous parameters that need to be extracted from the sound signal like Bandwidth, Fundamental frequency, peaks in the spectrum, amplitude, shape etc.

The following link will be a good starting point to start off with.

And you are free to post your queries regarding the same and we will help you build the application.

Regards,

Webcast Wednesday Team
