LabVIEW / TestStand ignores License Server Settings

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I'm seeing a rather strange behaviour on my computer. We received a new license file for our license server. After it has been imported,  TestStand and LabVIEW used temporary licenses.... I ignored this for a day but became suspicious.

The License Manger Tool on my computer finds the license server and displays correctly the access rights for my Dev Suite (incl Automated test). Neither LabVIEW nor TestSTand can check one out though...

Instead I get the error message

LabVIEW Development System

Licensing Attempt 1:
All available licenses on "xxx" are currently checked out. (NILM13)
Contact your license administrator if you have any questions.

License Manager shows available licenses though. I've already tried reinstalling NI software (took some time...) manually removing re-adding License server information. I'm getting a bit desperate / annoyed.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Oli

Issue fixed.

After stopping & restarting the License Server a few times, my license is working again.

Seems, it has been a "personal issue" between me an the license server, since only my license refused to work..... Smiley Frustrated

Enjoy the weekend!
