Software features missing on older hardware

Solved!
Go to solution

Having just upgraded to the latest version of the software and firmware for our older Virtualbench (circa 2014), we notice that it doesn't have the phosphorus adjustment or the math functions like the latest demo software does.  Is this a mistake or is there a deliberate plan to not bring new software features to older hardware?

Hi Eddd,

When Digital Phosphor was added to VirtualBench 15.2, we announced it for the VB-8034.

The VB-8054 also got this feature when it was later released. It was deliberate that we did not include Digital Phosphor in VB-8012 updates due to hardware limitations.

Thanks for the question.

Damon
