Hello

I am a new user of Veristand 2010 and I'm in the process of building my first project. I noticed that LabView is needed to create custom devices. Is LabView required to use Veristand? Are there any other applications that can be used instead of LabView?

NI VeriStand is completely stand alone and can be used without any additional software.

If you wish to add custom code in to the NI VeriStand execution engine, that can be done with a custom device or a model. Custom devices are written in LabVIEW. Models can be written in LabVIEW, any supported modeling environment, or straight C code.
