Semi Period Measurement for PWM input: Does this require a custom device?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I need to read a pwm input on my X-series card in the VS2011 environment.  In LV, this would be done by doing a semi-period measurement. Now how can I do this in VS2011 ? It looks like I would have to take this LV vi doing the semi periods meas, and "fitting" it into a VS custom device. Is that true?

Thx.

L.

Hello BSI

You are correct you are going to need to take this LabVIEW VI and fit it to a custom device as this is not native to Veristand 2011. However this may be a good thing to post to the idea exchange as well so in future versions we may see this option built in. 🙂
