Does a PXI-FPGA card work with the NI VeriStand engine running on windows

If the NI VeriStand Engine is deployed to run on a PXI embedded controller running windows, will it support an R Series card in the PXI chassis.  I know that the NI VeriStand Engine running on windows supports DAQmx IO, but I'm not sure about NI-RIO IO.

In 2010 and later it should work fine. Personally, I have never tried it tho.
