We have recently updated system for VeriStand 2024Q2. Our PXI involves four XNET cards (PXIe-8510, 6-port version).
An error occurs during deploy (screenshot 1): "CANxx: Device firmware is out of date and will be automatically updated. This proces may take a few minutes." The deploy is then interrupted. No update occurs.
When trying to update firmware manually from NI-MAX, no other firmware version is proposed. I did not succeed to find files with firmware at the NI site. The installed firmware version is 23022410 (screenshot 2).
Other observations:
- The PXI has access to internet (LTE modem is connected to an ethernet port, gateway is set, command like "ping google.com" from command line is succesful)
- The error appears only in "Target Log Viewer" during the first deploy after reboot. The message is not reported in the logs in /c/ni-rt/NIVeriStand/Logs folder.
Can you suggest me a solution? I think following information might be useful for me:
- how update PXIe-8510 firmware manually from the command line?
- where find newer firmware versions?
- any other hints?
