Alternate GSW 2020

I've recently been given some code created in 2014 version with the task of updating the code in 2020. As part of the code there is a sub vi which launches VeriStand and should prevent the standard Getting Started Window from appearing.

Looking online it looks like the code was based on a previous forum for 2011:

The vi will load VeriStand as normal but doesn't load the alternate GSW and just loads the standard. I've tried creating a bat file and trying that way but still no luck.

I'm just wondering if this back door trick is still available in 2020 or if the issue could be going from Windows 7 to Windows 10?

I was also wondering if anyone has any alternative methods to this? I've not been able to find anything so far.

I'm currently using LabVIEW 2020 SP1 and VeriStand 2020 R6.

I've attached some basic code to simulate the issue. I created a very basic front panel as a placeholder.
