What is the definition for (A16) adress 0xC32 to a value of F?

I FINALLY got my application to work.  The VME-MXI-2 card was not responding to my commands from my product line VME controller.  I found some legacy code from another project, and there was a piece of code that set A16:0xC32 to a value of F.  There was also a comment that read, "set the controller to allow for slave mode".  This register is not in the VME-MXI-2 manual...

Hi Joe,

Did you mean to type 0xC032, or is 0xC32 correct?  The reason I ask is that 0xC032 falls between 0xC000 and 0xFFFF where the configuration registers are located in A16 space.  If you do mean 0xC032, the page 4-3 of the MXI-2 Manual says this register is VMEbus IACK 1.

If you do mean 0xC32, then that falls in regular A16 space and is not a reserved configuration register.

Thanks for the reply.  That reminded me of the "base address equation" based on Logical Address.  I need to go back to the legacy setup and see what the LA they are using, and back out the proper address.

Thanks again,

Joe
