If by chance you receive this error when attempting to run ResMan outside of Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), then you will want to refer to this [broken link removed] KnowledgeBase article, which details how to fix such an error/crash.
Curious--what operating system do you run for your VXI system? Also, what version of NI-VXI do you have installed? (You can check this in MAX, beneath the Software tree) In addition to the "Error in InitVXI Library..." message you receive, do you see your system exhibiting any of the problematic symptoms mentioned here [broken link removed]? Replying with any additional information on your system and setup would be most welcome and aid in finding the cause of the issue.
