What do I need to do to install a vxi-mxi-2 card?

I have a pci-mxi-2 card in my pc and a mxi2 cable to a vxi-mxi2 card in a vxi mainframe in the slot 0. And I want to use a VME card in the slot 1 of the mainframe.
I have the NI drivers/software but I can't install the vxi card.

Hello,

Installing NI-VXI 3.3.1 should be enough. Try to launch Resman just with the VXI-MXI-2 inserted in the chassis without any other VXI modules.
If you continue having errors when running Resman, try to attach a screenshot of the error.
