VXI-MXI upgrade

I have the executable and source code, can i use the same code which is written in Labview version 3.1 & 4.0 to recompile it to latest labview version to be run on windows 10?
I know that for Labview verion conversion i will have to port the code to intermediate version and then finally compile it in latest labview version.
What i wanted to know is Driver files of VXI-MXI bus are written for windows 95 can i use same driver files for windows 7 or 10 in order to communicate with same hardware ? 

or Can i port the same code to PXI based hardware ?

I'm not super sure about the driver capability, though it's worth trying. 
Porting the code to PXI platform might need modifications to work with native PXI instrumentation drivers.
