MAX hangs when running Resman

Hi,

I have a pci-mxi-2 card in my computer connected to a vme-mxi-2 card in my VME system. I have reinstalled the NI-VXI/NI-VISA software and still have a problem when running Resman in MAX. The system hangs and it says "configuring Mainframe 1" while the MXI green light of the vme-mxi-2 keeps on.

Is this still an issue for you? If so I would make sure that your software and PCI-MXI-2 card are correctly installed. To do this, disconnect the cable from the VME-MXI-2, but leave the cable connected to the PCI-MXI-2 and make sure that resman successfully completes without the VME-MXI-2. If this works then we can troubleshoot further, if this is even still an issue for you.

Many thanks for your answer. I think I had a faulty VME module. I solved the problem changing the module.
