hi,we are using NI-VISA in .net 2.0 to detect our instruments and opens session handle to it.i can find sessions for all interface type like:
- PxiSession
- TcpipSession
- GpibSession
- VxiSession
- UsbSession
- SerialSession
but there is no session class for GPIB-VXI.wht session class should i use ???thanksbharathi

GPIB sessions obvious. There is no such thing as GPIB-VXI. You got to communicate to VXI through GPIB. I believe you have the SCIP command in your hand. If you don’t know what SCIP is. Open your VXI manual up. It is simple to do. It tells you very thing you need to do to establish the communications. Try a couple of sequences.
