Error: This operation requires the driver to be in the Running state

I have an application that continuously fetches contiguous data over a long period of time.

Occasionally...there is a 'hiccup' during fetches...where it seems like data between the USRP and OS get dropped.  I can only think to attribute this to something going on between the OS, the network port, and the USRP driver and radios.

Sometimes, it recovers and continues streaming data, no problem. Other times...it completely stalls and I get the error message above.

Not sure what causes this error.  I am not stopping or starting acquisition.  I initiate acquisition once...and then just call the Fetch IQ vi over and over (with some of my own processing in between).

Any insight into what causes this error to be thrown?

Hi Brandon,

Which version of NI-USRP are you using?

If you are not using 18.0, can you check if you can reproduce the problem in NI-USRP 18.0?
