roboRIO2 stopped recognizing Beam Break sensors on DIO5-8 ports during competition.

As a robotics team mentor and former EE, I am reporting that our roboRIO2 functioned normally during practice runs and during our first matches at the Lake Superior Regional in Duluth, MN, however our cargo (balls) would not shoot into the upper hub properly during autonomous mode after our first couple matches.  So back in the pit our team suspected a bad beam break sensor.  They replaced the sensor, but then discovered that both beam break sensors did not function.  A DVM was then used to measure the voltage on the roboRIO2 DIO supply.  The supply measured 3.2 VDC instead of 5.0 VDC.  Therefore the team replaced the roboRIO2 with another one we had brought along to the competition.  The DIO supply on this new roboRIO2 measured 5.0 VDC.  Both beam break sensors also functioned properly again.  We would like to know if NI wants us to return the failed roboRIO2 for analysis and we would like to know how to get a replacement.

Yes, any emails regarding our problem with the roboRIO2 +5V supply outputting only +3.2VDC would be helpful.
