We (FRC190) have a RoboRio 1 that no longer will link over Ethernet. Thoroughly debugged at our last regional event (2022arli) with FTA, including trying a USB-Ethernet adapter.

Is it safe to assume you're not seeing LED activity when connecting to the Ethernet port?

That would be correct. Same with a USB-Ethernet adapter. Link lights do not flash when unit is booted either.

If the LEDs aren't working on boot or when plugging into a network, I wouldn't troubleshoot any further.
