Assuming 'Update Value while Typing' has been enabled, from the Front Panel right click shortcut menu of the control 'String'.  What is Numeric Value Out if the VI is executed and the user enters SteveLikesLabVIEW into the control 'String' followed by a Carriage Return.

NOTE:  The Event Structure contains only the Event Case shown.
