Is it just me or did the "Index" and "New Element" input terminal icons change? Is there any reason for this update?

Those functions are Initialize Array and then Delete From Array.

Answer A. Nice one all.

The icon of the second function narrows down the functionality provided but does not define it. When I look at the icon it is either Delete From Array or Array Subset. For some reason I tell them apart by the extra output terminal of the Delete From Array which is the deleted portion, not massively intuitive but it has stuck in my mind and I'm happy to run with it. The length and index input terminals of Delete from Array and Array Subset are also opposite to each other, but that is too annoying to use as an aide memoire.

How to drag this to my LabVIEW Block Diagram?

Download the snippet first and then drag it onto your block diagram. The snippet was generated with LabVIEW 2014, so you will need 2014 or newer to use the snippet.

My data type settings of controls and indicators are disabled. I am unable to change the fixed point configuration. Please help to solve this problem.
