The auto-indexing tunnel will tell the loop how many iterations to run (size of the array).  So N is not required.  There was a series of questions a couple of years ago in this blog about FOR loops and how many iterations they run.  See if you can find them and review those.

when i make the same VI , the connecting wires are in orange colour and am not able to get the output 

why is it???

The orange wire is an indication of your data type.  You have floating point numeric instead of integer numeric.  The rest is just complete guessing without seeing what you currently have built up.
