The value read from a Boolean Value or Value (Signaling) Property Node, can be of either Boolean or Variant type depending on the configuration of the Boolean Terminal?

True (except you can not read from a Value (Signaling) Property).

a) TRUE

Variant will happen when a boolean control is set to latching.

True.

Configuring Value (Signaling) Property with latching mechanical action will always returns an error 1193.

I would say FALSE since the Val(Sig) is a write only property.

nice learned something new: TRUE

a) set "latching" operation on a boolean control/indicator will return a Variant via property node (i guess i saw it before but never registered it consciously)

Using LV2020 or 2018, I get error 1193 when I create a property node to read value and set the mechanical action to latching. Is there a way to set things up so that LabVIEW will read the variant value? Thanks.
