You can increase the number of Salt worker processes if you are trying to manage more than 50 nodes from a single server by modifying C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\salt\conf\master.d\nisysmgmt.conf and increasing "worker_threads" from 5 to 20.
This will prevent timeouts and connection errors when a lot of systems are trying to connect at the same time.
