Are there any examples / best practices for automating the installation and configuration of Systemlink clients? At our company, we anticipate needing to install the client on 50-100 machines, and doing so by remoting into each machine and manually running installers and setup wizards is pretty untenable.
I am tentatively hopeful that our IT department will be able to help us with automating the installation (leveraging something like Puppet / Ansible, as well as updating VM images for virtual machine clients), but there will still be necessary steps to configure the Systemlink server address and the Client minion IDs...
Could we reasonably script the configuration of the clients? What all would need to be changed? For example, I suspect we'll need to modify some salt files for the minion id, and perhaps the
C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\Skyline\SkylineConfigurations\skyline_master.json
