pxi-2567 ground references

Hi all,

I'm considering using a PXI-2567 in a project. However I need to check where the ground references connect to before committing to the purchase.

The pxi-2567 datasheet shows nine separate ground signals on the output connector. These are:

Connector Pin 39: PXI chassis backplane ground
Connector Pin 42: Common ground return for CH0:7
Connector Pin 3: Common ground return for CH8:15
.
.
.
Connector Pin 36: Common ground return for CH56:63.

My question is, are all these grounds internally connected in the PXI-2567, or does this card have some form of isolation between each of the eight banks, and also between the eight banks and the pxi backplane ground? (P.S. Looking at the datasheet, it implies that all nine grounds are at the same potential - but I just want to be sure).

Regards,
Tom

Hello bilby.  The eight common grounds that are each dedicated for one bank in the pxi-2567 are all tied to the chassis ground via the backplane.  Thus, you were correct in assuming that all nine grounds are at the same potential.
