niSE switch executive on physical device?

Hi,

In Labview we have two sets of VI: NI Switch and NI Switch Executive. Does NI SE only work on virtual devices, or on physical device as well? If I wrote a labview program using NI SE functions, will it work when I connect to physical devices? Sorry if it's a dumb question.

Yes, you can use with physical or simulated. The simulation is there to help you build the routes, route groups, etc. Then once you want to use the physical switch you can.
