When I'm exporting a configuration file to a target computer will the configuration of the target computer get erased?

In Switch Executive, if I export the IVIConfigurationStore.xml file, will the current configuration get over-written in the NI Switch Executive Virtual Devices?  Also will NI-IMAQ Devices get affected as well?  Thanks for your help.

The IVIConfigurationStore.xml file is not a NISE virtual device configuration file and therefore cannot be exported/imported within NISE. This file is an IVI configuration file that contains all the info that you see in MAX under IVI Drivers.

You can copy it from one computer to another but you can only have one IVIConfigurationStore.xml so you will need to rename the one on the target if you want to keep it. Make sure MAX is not open when you manipulate the IVIConfigurationStore.xml file. This file is being read when MAX launches.
