Route Specification Type

Looking at the new features of Switch Executive 2.1.0, can anyone help me determine what the following feature is?

"Support for the Route Specification Type"

It specifies the connect method the routing engine uses to determine a route.

It is a drop down option from inside the Routes/Groups tab with following choices

• Specified By Full Path
• Find By Endpoints 

• Find If Full Path Fails

Which mean:

• kSpecifiedByFullPath–The routing engine uses the fully specified path to determine the route
• kSpecifiedByEndpoints–The routing engine uses endpoints to determine the route.
• kSpecifiedByBoth–If the full path fails to connect, the routing engine uses endpoints to determine the route.  

New question does anyone know what the version 2.0 used, probably only the FullPath option?

You are correct.  Switch Executive 2.0 used only the Full Path option.
