Forced columns in Switch Executive 3.0

I have one SCXI-1127 (4X8) switch and two SCXI-1129 (4X64) switchs in my system.  I have instrumentation connected to the rows of the SCXI-1127.  The columns of the SCXI-1127 are connected to the rows of the SCXI 1129's via hardwires.  For each row of the SCXI-1127 that I try to connect to a unique column of a SCXI-1129, Switch Executive auto-routes through column-0 of the SCXI-1127.  This causes an error when I try to build a route group because I have multiple routes using column-0 of the SCXI-1127.

Is there a way for me to specify which column of the SCXI-1127 gets used when specifying a route?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

To better answer your question, what version of NI Switch Executive are you using? Also, please clarify the following statement "for each row of the SCXI-1127 that I try to connect to a unique column on a SCXI-1129, Switch Executive auto-routes through column-0" what steps are you taking to create these connections?

I'm using Switch Executive version 3.0.  I solved my problem by reserving for connections the rows and colums connected to the hardwires.  Then I edited the connection routes to avoid conflicts when multiple routes were grouped together.
