Can I activate more than 1 relay on PXI2529 ? What are the limitations ?

In order to buy a matrixI compared PXI-2529 PXI-2530 and PXI-2532.
The specifications of PXI 2530 and PXI-2532 indicate a "simltaneous drive limit", however PXI-2529s specification does not have such indication. Does this means that the PXI-2529 can activate only one relay at a time? (e.g. reseting the previous connection).
Are there any limitation derived from the way the PXI-2529 PXI-2530 and PXI-2532 are constructed? (e.g. contacts activated in pairs)

Hi ctsip,

Does this means that the PXI-2529 can activate only one relay at a time? (e.g. reseting the previous connection).

The PXI-2529 is a latching relay.  The relay does not require power from the module to remain actuated, so there is no limitation as to how many relays can be closed at the same time.

The PXI-2530 and PXI-2532 are both constructed with Form A relays.  The PXI-2530 can drive 64 relays simultaneously, where the PXI-2532 can only simultaneously drive 40.  This difference is because of the power required to drive the PXI-2530's Meder MS05-1A71-75DHR relay vs. the PXI-2532's Meder CRR05-1A relay.  The 2530's relays require less power, so more relays can be closed simultaneously.

Once again, the PXI-2529 has no limitation as to how many relays can be closed simultaneously.

Let me know if you have further questions!
