Hall Effect Switch in PID control

Hi,

I am trying to experiment a PID control of DC motor as given in the Resources document.

I would like to know what is the specification of the Hall effect sensor that can be used.

Hi Mani-Tech - You will need to use a digital hall effect sensor to use the counter on the DAQ board to count the pulses.  I'm including two sensors we used to complete the project for your reference below.  Good luck!

Operating Supply (Input) Voltage 5Vdc

Output Voltage 5V

Mounting Style:  Through Hole

SS466A     Honeywell Digital Position Sensor Hall Effect 3Pin    

A3212        Allegro Micropower, Ultrasensitive Hall-Effect Switches
