This paper describes the development of an application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for driving a car without human interpretation. An automated car is a vehicle equipped with an autopilot system. It is capable of driving from one point to another without input from a human operator using Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence is defined as “the study and design of intelligent agents" where an intelligent agent is a system that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chances of success. This document explains the method which allows an application for applying an AI method, fuzzy logic for obstacle avoidance. The future automated vehicles will be capable of determining the best route and warn each other about the conditions ahead. Sensors are used to control the actions of the vehicle.W band Radar which has the frequency range of 75-110 GHz used as a visual sensor. Firefly MV Camera which detects upcoming traffic lights and recognize moving obstacles like pedestrians and vehicles. Google maps interact with GPS and acts like a database.
