5G Innovation Starts Here: NIWeek 5G Summit, Sponsored by IEEE ComSoc

NI and IEEE ComSoc have partnered to bring leaders in wireless communications to Austin, TX on August 3, 2016. The NIWeek 5G Summit, sponsored by IEEE ComSoc,  will tout the latest 5G research results and discuss the most pressing topics on the road to 5G standardization.

Presenters include heavy hitters from the community including Dr. Tom Marzetta, the father of Massive MIMO; Ali Panah, Lead of the Facebook Aries project; Amitava Ghosh, head of Nokia’s North American Radio Systems Research Group; Arun Ghosh, Director of Wireless Research at AT&T Labs; and Michael Ha, Office of Engineering and Technology at the FCC. Leaders from Ericsson, Samsung and Qualcomm will join in on the lively discussions as well. Leading researchers in academia including Mark Beach, University of Bristol; Ove Edfors, Lund University; Andy Molisch, University of Southern California; and Shi Jin, Southeast University, will contribute their expertise and perspectives as well.
