How to accelerate the processing

Hi,

I have data recorded at 2000s/sec for some hours.  Now I want to analyse the data eg taking a average of every 2000samples (1sec). After playing with the options (no delay, no update of screen).still SE takes a lot of time to display the new graph with the mean values (project contains this single processing step).  If I do this in LV --> much faster.

Question: is this related to the principle of SE or do I something wrong?

Second question: what is the easiest way to extract portions of data out of my big set.  I want to re-use these portions further in SE.

When you said you set no delay did you mean changing the playback rate to "As Fast As Possible" from the Edit menu?
