Export all snapshot data at the same time to Excel

Hello,

I am using the following equipment and software:

  • Signal Express 2012
  • NI USB-6009

I record snapshot measurements on all 8 analog inputs:

  • DC
  • RMS
  • Peak-peak

Selecting all measurement types and dragging them into Excel results only in transferring DC values.

At the moment I am able to transfer the data by dragging each measurement type (DC, RMS, pk-pk) one by one manually.

Is it possible (and how) to export the ALL the data with timestamp from snapshot to Excel?

If there are more measurements than 3 it will be tedious task.

Thank you for hints.

Lucas

I'm not clear as to why you're using the Snapshot feature to drag your signals into Excel..
If you want to save those signals to Excel why not add a Save to ASCII step and save your data directly to .txt format?

SCXI- 1000 Chassis w/ 1346 adapter
PCI 6281 DAQ card
SCXI- 1520 Bridge Board w/ 1314 Terminal Block (x2)
SCXI- 1180 Feedthrough Panel w/ 1302 Block

Thank you for reply.

I know this functionality, but when I use "Save to ASCII" I get a list of samples. What I actually need is a SINGLE value with timestamp calculated from these samples for ex: U1_DC=10V or U2_RMS=15V.

Additionally, snapshot gives me possibility to make measurements "On demand". I do not want to keep recording data continuously.
