i would like to give input arguments to Sine pattern VI and Sine wave VI. Input argument amplitude i would like to give in mm and frequency i would like to give in HZ and periods and i also want to give time as an input. Is it possible? and how? please tell me.

Hello hood1,

This can easiest be done with the generate signal Express VI (if you have Labview 7 or 7.1). Otherwise
I would use the sine waveform.vi out of the waveform generation palette. The frequency input is in Hz, the Amplitude is given without unit - you simply can scale the output array by adding the unit mm.
If you want to have a sinewave that has a certain length in seconds (time input) you have to use the sampling parameter input. Number of samples devided by sample rate = time.

PS. In future, please post as question only once in one thread. Thanks.
