I've reproduced the problem, see screenshots in attachment.

For experiment purity I downloaded example project from https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-26352 again.

No code modification, no any other device than scope connected to my AT-1212(not AT-1120, but i think they are quite similar).

I changed only amplitude value from 1.00 V to 0.50 V in appropriate control

The problem appears rarely. This shots were made only on 20th launch of the example VI.

Also there are some sinusoide's distortion on the second picture
