divide trigger frequency

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how can I divide the frequency of my external trigger?

(Instead of having a 100kHz trigger, i would like to have a 200 Hz trigger signal).

thank you all,

João Rodrigues.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

I am using an NI - PCI 6010 board and i am programming it with vc++ 2008.

My main purpose is to trigger an analog output waveform with 11 milliseconds. The thing is that my trigger has a frequency of 100 kHz, and many triggers will be received during those 11 milliseconds. Is there a problem or the board will ignore those signals and just look at the trigger after the task's execution?

If not, i should probably divide the trigger's frequency as aforementioned in my last question.

Thank you for your help Samuel.

Regards,

João Rodrigues.
