Why I can not use labwiew 8 to control my PCI-5421

To Whom It May Concern:

We bought NI PCI-5421 and NI PCI 5214 Recently. I can find the two devices for MAX and use labview 8.0 to control PCI 5214. But, I can not control PCI-5421.   I can not communicate with the PCI-5421 device by using IVI drives, DAQ-MAX or traditional DAQ. Could you tell  me the reason and How can do it.

Sincerely,

Yours.

Hello,

Can you please post which IVI driver you are using to control PCI-5421. You would need NI-FGEN driver to control the instrument easily. The driver also installs NI-FGEN SOft Front Panel which let's you get started quickly. You can install NI-FGEN driver from Driver CD by selecting "Modular Instruments" optin when installing the driver CD.

You can also install the driver from this link after installing contingent drivers

Hope this helps.
