torque requirement for National SMA cable 763444-01

I use National SMA cable 763444-01 in my system.

after poking around a bit on the web, it looks like there are two torque requirements for SMA connectors - one for steel connectors and one for brass.

the connector ends on my cable look like they're gold plated, but, they could be polished brass for all I know.

anybody know what the cable ends are made of? I looked at the datasheet for the cable, and didn't see the material called out.

I cannot speak about the NI cable but in my experience gold connectors are brass and silver appearing ones are steel.

That's probably the safest bet.

Thanks for your input.
