settling time between voltages (PXIE 6363)

I currently have two accelerometers riding on 7 volts. I also have two torque sensors which have signals in the milli-volt range. when looking solely at the torque sensor outputs the signal is correct but In labview as soon as I have an accelerometer signal also being acquired It disrupts my low voltage torque sensor. My question is if I was to make a voltage divider for the accelerometer and bring it down to around 1 v should I get significant improvement?

Hi Nemord,

Well, I don't think a voltage divider will improve your measurements, in fact, depending on how you do it, it could amplify noise.  Have you tried to read this white paper from NI? It's quite handy for these situations:

Field Wiring and Noise Considerations for Analog Signals

Also, I have another question, Are you mixing current and voltage sensors? Do all the sensors operate on the same output range?

Thanks,

Mario.
